Report: Bayern reach verbal agreement with de Ligt

Matthijs de Ligt has reportedly told Bayern he wants to come, but Juventus' asking price is a hurdle.
As reported by several media outlets, Bayern München are chasing Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.

The player is said to be keen on a move to Bayern, with Sport1 reporting that he has already reached a verbal agreement with the German champions.

Bayern, however, will not be able to meet Juventus' reported asking price of €80 million and will have to drive down the price to get the deal over the line.

They are not the only club in the race for de Ligt, though, with Chelsea also showing interest in the Dutchman.
