André Silva will miss the start of RB Leipzig's pre-season training camp in Austria, according to Kicker.

The Portuguese striker has been forced to stay at home due to an infection, per the German football magazine.

However, Leipzig don't rule out that Silva may still travel before the end of the training camp.

In the best case scenario, he will be back at full strength in time for Leipzig's friendly against Liverpool on July 21.

Leipzig's second-choice goalkeeper Janis Blaswich has also been forced to stay home. Like Silva, he's struggling with an infection.
