Bayern München are edging closer to extending Serge Gnabry's contract, according to Kicker.

Per the German football magazine, a new contract for the next four or five years is on the table.

In principle, the 26-year-old is satisfied with the offer made by the German champions, but the details are still being discussed, with both parties "confident" that they will come to an agreement in the foreseeable future.

Gnabry's current deal expires in 2023, and Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic has previously emphasized that the Bavarians "don't want to go into the final year of his contract without hearing form he that he wants to stay."
