Kicker Report: Bielefeld emerge as potential takers for Klimowicz

German footballing magazine Kicker reports that recently relegated Arminia Bielefeld are interested in taking Mateo Klomowicz off VfB Stuttgart's hands.
With interest from across the pond never materializing into something concrete, VfB Stuttgart may have found a taker for one-time German youth international Mateo Klimowicz in the second division. The Sawbians have been actively shopping the 22-year-old throughout the course of the offseason.

Once a favorite of his current head-coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, Klimowicz dropped out of favor with the trainer during the second half of the previous campaign. The son of Bundesliga great Diego Klimowicz made just one start during the 2021/22 "Rück-Runde" and has not been utilized at all during this current young campaign.

At present, no details concerning the nature of the deal are available. Klimowicz remains under contract with Stuttgart through 2024 and has an estimated market value of €2 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
