In a statement accompanying the announcement, Werder professional licensing director Clemens Fritz made clear that the club expected Dinkci back after the coming season. The Hanseaten obviously have hopes that, like the previously loaned out Nick Woltemade (SV Elversberg), one of their developmental attacking prospects will gain valuable playing practice and find his form.
"We are convinced of Eren's qualities," Fritz noted in a Bremen-released statement, "However, it is now important for him to gain as much match practice as possible. In Heidenheim, he has a very good opportunity to do so. We wish him the greatest possible success. Eren will return to Werder after the loan."
"With Eren, we have another option in the attack," Heidenheim head-of-sport Robert Strauß added on behalf of the loan club, "not to mention a very eager player who is capable of developing further."
"I'm looking forward to tackling this new challenge and will do everything I can to stay to help the FCH to remain in the league," Dinkci said in his own statement, "to achieve this, I want to contribute to my new team with the Bundesliga experience I've already been able to accrue."
Dinkci is Heidenheim's fifth major signing of the summer. Nikola Dovedan, Benedikt Gimber, and Omar Haktab Traoré have already been brought in as new additions. Central defender Tim Siersleben was also signed on a permanent basis from Wolfsburg on Thursday.
