Huge injury problems in Wolfsburg's defense

While many clubs have had injury problems this season, Wolfsburg's could hardly be worse - coach Ralph Hasenhüttl gives an update.

6 (!) injuries in the defense - a horror scenario for all Wolfsburg fans at the moment. Coach Ralph Hasenhüttl has given an update on the long injury list before their game against Union Berlin on Sunday:

“Denis Vavro, Konstantinos Koulierakis and possibly Seb Bornauw, who felt pain in his already injured foot, are out for the game. Mathys Angely is also not available.”

If Bornauw also misses the game due to injury, then 18-year-old David Odogu could be set for his debut as first choice (!) centre-back for die Wölfe this weekend.

Hasenhüttl also added news on right-back Mads Roerslev: “In addition to the centre-backs, Mads Roerslev was still not fully involved in the training sessions. He still has some problems with his heel.”

The long-term injured Rogério completes Wolfsburg's current injury list and makes it 6 - it'll be exciting to see with what solution Ralph Hasenhüttl will come up to get Wolfsburg back on track against Union Berlin this Sunday.
