Bayern boss confirms Pavard transfer, search for replacement underway

Bayern Munich boss Jan-Christian Dreesen has confirmed the Benjamin Pavard is set to join Inter and that the German champions want to sign a replacement before the transfer window closes.
At a press conference today, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen confirmed reports that Benjamin Pavard is set to leave the club to join Inter.

He also said that Bayern are looking for a replacement, but wouldn't name any names.

"Benjamin Pavard flew to Milan yesterday and will have his medical today. If he passes it, he will sign for Inter," Dreesen told reporters.

"He has had four good years here. We are searching for a replacement, but I won't confirm or deny any names".

Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah is said to be Bayern's preferred candidate to replace Pavard.
