Bremen officially introduce Deman

SV Werder Bremen officially unveiled Belgian international Olivier Deman as a new player on Thursday evening.
A high-profile signing for SV Werder Bremen has been officially unveiled. Belgian international Olivier Deman becomes the second pick-up for the Hanseaten from the Jupiler Pro League following the signing of Senne Lynne moved Royale Union Saint-Gilloise earlier this summer. The Cercle Brugge player moves to the Weser on a permanent transfer. Terms of the contract and the transfer fee were not immediately revealed.

"We have been looking at Olivier for some time and have been in talks with him," Bremen personnel boss Clemens Fritz noted in a club statement, "Ware very pleased that the transfer has now worked out. We are convinced that he will help us on the left flank and that his qualities will give us further options."

"Olivier played his first international match for Belgium in the summer and is a very well-trained player for the left side," head-coach Ole Werner added,  "He is very strong in running and has an active and intense style of play, which will certainly be good for our game."

"Werder is a great club and I am happy to be able to play here in the stadium," Deman himself said, "The move to Werder and the Bundesliga is the next step in my career. The level in the Bundesliga is very high and I want to prove myself here."
