Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel decided to take off Joshua Kimmich in the 60th minute against Bayer Leverkusen because he didn't want to take any risks with the midfielder, who was struggling with an injury before the game.

Kimmich himself seemed frustrated, but Tuchel makes it clear that the substitution was planned before the game and based on the advice of the medical team.
"Joshua had an inflamed tendon and we didn't want to take any risks with him," Tuchel told reporters.
"The medical team clearly said he could only play 60 minutes and that's why we took him off in the 60th minute."
