Rose praises Leipzig's "warrior mentality" after victory over Young Boys

Marco Rose was proud of his RB Leipzig team following tonight's 3-1 win over Young Boys.
RB Leipzig kicked off their Champions League campaign with three points tonight, beating Young Boys 3-1 in Bern.

Speaking after the game, Leipzig coach Marco Rose praised his side for the way they've coped with the absence of captain Willi Orban and key attacker Dani Olmo.

"I really like how we've been dealing with adversity over the past few weeks," Rose said in a post-match interview.

"We've been playing without our captain and without Olmo. We're defending our goal and are showing our quality up front. That’s a kind of warrior mentality. These victories are helping us immensely until the boys we’re missing are back."
