Bundesliga team of the week – matchday 20
By Rune Gjerulff @runegjerulff
Bayer Leverkusen have four players in our team of the week after their impressive win over Bayern München.
Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki, Borussia Dortmund (4)
Made a total of six saves - including some vital stops - to help Borussia Dortmund to a draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Right-back: Danny da Costa, Eintracht Frankfurt (2)
Came close to scoring at the beginning of Frankfurt's game against Dortmund, but saw his attempt kept out by Bürki. Set up Luka Jovic's equaliser and generally did well to come forward on the right.
Centre-back: Kaan Ayhan, Fortuna Düsseldorf (3)
Put in a strong performance in his side's 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim in which he won 90 percent of his duels.
Centre-back: Willi Orban, RB Leipzig (2)
Rock solid defensively and scored twice in RB Leipzig's 3-0 win over Hannover 96.
Left-back: Jerome Roussillon, VfL Wolfsburg (5)
The energetic left-back was a constant threat in Wolfsburg's 1-0 win over Hertha BSC and provided the assist for Wout Weghorst's match-winning goal. Additionally, he won 83 percent of his duels.
Defensive midfielder: Charles Aranguiz, Bayer Leverkusen (2)
Never stopped running in the centre of the park and won a lot of duels in Leverkusen's 3-1 win over Bayern München.
Right midfielder: Thorgan Hazard, Borussia Mönchengladbach (5)
Was brought down by Schalke keeper Alexander Nübel who thus saw red. Later, he set up both of Gladbach's goals.
Offensive midfielder: Julian Brandt, Bayer Leverkusen
Had a strong game against Bayern München. Found his teammates with 92 percent of his passes and provided the assist for Lucas Alario's 3-0 goal. Ran a total of 12,6 kilometers - more than any other player on the pitch.
Left midfielder: Leon Bailey, Bayer Leverkusen
After a disappointing first half of the season, Bailey is slowly looking more like his former self under Peter Bosz. Scored a wonderful free kick goal in the 3-1 win over Bayern München.
Striker: Alfred Finnbogason, FC Augsburg
The Icelandic international bagged a hattrick in Augsburg's convincing 3-0 win over Mainz.
Striker: Kevin Volland, Bayer Leverkusen (3)
Was one of the Leverkusen players who really lead the way in the 3-1 win over Bayern München in which he scored the match-winning goal.
