Here is our preview of Tuesday's DFB-Pokal first round clash between Preußen Münster and Bayern Munich, including predicted lineups.
However, there is no danger of the German champions underestimating their opponents, said Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel at his pre-match press conference on Monday.
"We're preparing seriously. We'll play like Bayern want to play. It doesn't matter who's on the other side. We're the favourites. There's not much for us to win. We want to win. We want to get to Berlin and be in the final. We have to keep winning games for that," Tuchel said.
However, with Bayern's schedule packed, Tuchel is expected to rotate his team for the game.
"We're now in the middle of a period with midweek games. I haven't made a decision yet about who'll play tomorrow. I'm assuming nobody went over the top at Oktoberfest yesterday. Raphaël Guerreiro should be involved and back in the squad. Matthijs de Ligt is unfortunately out. We need to see with Dayot Upamecano and Minjae Kim," he said.
One thing Tuchel was willing to reveal was that Daniel Peretz is in line to make his debut between the sticks after joining Bayern from Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer.
"I'm used to things abroad where the second-choice goalkeeper gets a chance in the cup. That's important for Daniel. His behaviour is top. Our whole goalkeeping team is a super unit that pushes each other. Sven Ulreich has been doing a great job. Daniel deserves it. It's been discussed with him and our goalkeeping coach."
Notably, with Matthjs de Ligt ruled out and Kim Min-jae reportedly sidelined too, Konrad Laimer could start alongside Dayot Upamecano in central defence.
Preußen Münster coach Sascha Hildmann is looking forward to what he describes as a "special" match.
"It is something special to play against Bayern Munich. We want to show our best side and be unpleasant," said Hildmann at his pre-match press conference.
As for how his team will approach the game, he said:
"I want us to be brave and play forward. It won't help if we just play hare and hounds. When we win the ball, we want to move forward quickly.
"We don't want to be too defensive, but it's probably inevitable."
