After Fortuna Düsseldorf's dramatic penalty shootout win over St. Pauli on Tuesday night secured their place in the DFB-Pokal semifinals, the German Cup continues on Wednesday when Hertha BSC and Kaiserslautern square off.

Hertha haven't had the ideal build-up to the match, having seen their 10-match unbeaten run come to an end at the weekend with a 3-1 away defeat to Wehen Wiesbaden.

"We want to win every game, so we were upset about last Saturday. Now the focus is on the cup game," said Hertha BSC sporting director Benjamin Weber.

It's the other way around for Kaiserslautern, as the Red Devils come into the game off the back of a 4-1 win over Schalke 04 that ended a three-game losing streak.

Dimitrios Grammazis' men will take confidence from that performance as they look to continue their sensational cup campaign at a packed Olympiastadion.

"We go there to win the game, it's man against man. Everyone has to push themselves, plow every millimeter of the pitch to force success," said Grammozis.

Hertha coach Pal Dardai will be without Agustin Rogel and Bence Dardai, but will be pleased to welcome back Fabian Reese from illness.

Kaiserslautern will be without Philipp Hercher and Hendrick Zuck.
