David Hancko is on Xabi Alonso’s list of possible reinforcements at centre-back this summer, Italian news source CalcioMercato reports.

The Slovakian international was expected to join Juventus a few weeks ago until Thiago Motta’s sacking changed the course of events.

Hancko will leave Feyenoord in summer amid interest from Leverkusen and various Premier League sides.

Xabi Alonso has been rumoured to be in contact with the player, demanding a physically strong and high-quality defender.

The Eredivise club are looking for around €25million for his services – the same price Leverkusen could pay for AC Milan’s Malick Thiaw.
