Manuel Neuer will most likely be out for longer than originally hoped due to the calf injury that is currently keeping him sidelined, according to Sport Bild.

It was previously reported that Bayern were hopeful of having Neuer fit for their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Inter on April 16.

However, according to the report, Bayern now have little hope that the veteran can play either of their games against the Serie A side, as the injury is proving to be much more persistent than originally hoped.

21-year-old Jonas Urbig will continue to cover for the 39-year-old while he's sidelined.

So far, Urbig has made five appearances for Bayern since joining from FC Köln during the winter transfer window.
