Nübel: Staying at Stuttgart "a very good option"

Alexander Nübel has admitted that the prospect of staying at Stuttgart is "very good".
With his loan spell at VfB Stuttgart coming to an end in a few months' time, Alexander Nübel has spoken out about his future.

The goalkeeper, who has a contract with Bayern Munich until 2025, admitted that he could see himself staying at Stuttgart beyond the summer.

"It's definitely a very, very good option. I can say that openly. I feel very comfortable with the team, the club, the fans and the region," Nübel told DAZN.

"I still have a year left on my contract with Bayern, but I feel very comfortable here. I think everybody knows that. We'll have talks in the next one, two or three weeks. My agent knows what I want," he added.

Stuttgart are said to be struggling to finance a permanent deal for Nübel. There's been speculation that Bayern could renew Nübel's contract and extend his loan spell at the Swabian club for another season.
