With just three months left on his contract at Bayern Munich, Leroy Sané's future remains up in the air.

As has been repeatedly reported, the 29-year-old wants to stay and would be willing to take a pay cut in order to extend his contract.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern have yet to make Sane an offer due to concerns over the winger's lack of consistency. However, the report also claims that there are now more voices within Bayern arguing that Sane deserves an extension.

A decision is now imminent, with Sky reporting that Bayern will decide whether or not to keep him in the next one to three weeks.

Should the parties fail to reach an agreement, Arsenal could bring the Germany international to London on a free transfer.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta knows Sané well from their time together at Manchester City, where the Spaniard was an assistant to Pep Guardiola.
