Germany coach Joachim Löw says he wants Bayern München's Niklas Süle to lead the defence.

"Niklas is now in charge. We're expecting more from him. He has to organize, direct and show himself. The same goes for Antonio Rüdiger," Löw told Die Welt and made it clear that he generally wants the team's young players to take responsibility and to "give and invest more".
Löw also said that the task of giving 'Die Mannschaft' a new face ahead of the European Championship in 2020 is a huge motivation for him.
"We need to find a good way of playing with a lot of enthusiasm, but above all we need good results again and the courage to make changes," Löw said and added:
"The tournament in 2020 is driving me forward - and so are the changes we have made and still want to make. The World Cup last year hurt, but I drew new energy from it."
