Barcelona eye 13-year-old Dortmund wonderkid

FC Barcelona are reportedly keeping an eye on Borussia Dortmund starlet Youssoufa Moukoko who is just 13 years old.

The just 13-year-old Borussia Dortmund player Youssoufa Moukoko has caught the eye of FC Barcelona after scoring 39 goals in just 27 appearances for Dortmund's under-17 team this season, El Mundo Deportivo reports.

According to the Spanish newspaper, sources from Dortmund confirm that Barcelona have sent scouts to watch the young striker, who was born in Cameroun, several times this season.

Barcelona recently watched Moukoko when Dortmund defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 in the under-17 championship semi-finals. The 13-year-old scored a goal and was also behind an assist. Moukoko and his teammates will be up against FC Bayern München in the final this Sunday.

The Catalan club have tried to verify that Moukoko is in fact just 13 years old, because his physical qualities and height can make it hard to believe, but his age has been confirmed after tests performed by both Borussia Dortmund and the German Football Association.

Moukoko has appeared for the German under-16 national team four times and scored three goals.
