Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz says his philosophy isn't based on a specific system, but rather on principles.

With Karim Bellarabi ruled out with an injury, Bosz has found it necessary to make some adjustments to his system. But the basics are the same.

"Our way of playing depends on the players available. We play differently with Karim. He has been ruled out, so we've changed some things. I don't focus on systems, but on principles - we want to play offensively, and we want to apply full pressure," Bosz told reporters at a press conference today.

"Our playing style isn't simple. But it can give confidence when we have the ball and apply pressure. Victories and points are a huge help for us," he said.

Leverkusen will have to manage without Karim Bellarabi, Leon Bailey and Joel Pohjanpalo when they face Augsburg on Friday.
