Reschke appointed technical director at Schalke
Michael Reschke has been named technical director at Schalke 04.

The 61-year-old, who previously worked in a similar role at Bayern München from 2014 to 2017, has signed a three-year contract. The club state that "his tasks will include restructuring the first-team scouting department and squad planning".
"As technical director, Michael Reschke will be able to perfectly apply his best strengths here at Schalke. He is someone who is very well connected at every level thanks to his decades of work in professional football, while he is also very knowledgeable and experienced, particularly when it comes to squad planning at first-team level," Schalke 04 head of sport Jochen Schneider said, as quoted by the club.
Most recently, Reschke worked as VfB Stuttgart's sporting director from August 2017 until February 2019.
