Bobic comments on the chances of signing Trapp, Hinteregger and Rode

Frankfurt are still hoping to sign Kevin Trapp, Martin Hinteregger and Sebastian Rode, but there are some hurdles to clear first, says board member Fredi Bobic.
Eintracht Frankfurt boss Fredi Bobic is still hopeful that the club will be able to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Kevin Trapp, Augsburg's Martin Hinteregger and Borussia Dortmund's Sebastian Rode permanently.

'Die Adler' are still eager to keep the trio, who played for Frankfurt on loan last season, although Bobic admits there are some hurdles to overcome.

"We still want to keep all three players. I have already had a very good conversation with Leonardo, the new Director of Football as PSG. Currently, Kevin isn't allowed to leave," Bobic told Frankfurt's website and added:

"In regard to Martin Hinteregger, there is radio silence between us and Augsburg at the moment. I talked to him a few days ago, and he remains totally on to us. But of course, it's not a bed of roses. Independently of that, we are well positioned in central defence, for example with Evan N'Dicka who had a very strong last season.

"'Seppl' Rode is currently recovering from an injury at Borussia Dortmund. We also plan to intensify the talks in his case in the next few weeks," he said.

Frankfurt have already turned Filip Kostic's loan deal into a permanent one while Djibril Sow, Dominik Kohr, Dejan Joveljic, Erik Durm and Rodrigo Zalazar have also signed with the club this summer.
