Stefan Lainer has followed Marco Rose from Salzburg to Gladbach - and he has huge faith in his coach's philosophy.

According to the right-back, Rose's philosophy - a 4-3-1-2 system which relies on high pressure - is 'disgusting' to play against as long as all players do their jobs.
"Marco's plan isn't wizardry. He quickly explains how it works. The most essential thing is to implement it over 90 minutes. Otherwise, it won't work. It requires the complete conviction of each individual. If we succeed, we are disgusting to play against for every opponent. We can beat everyone with our system," Lainer told Sport Bild and added:
"In Salzburg, we didn't have an outstanding team, but we managed to implement Marco's philosophy almost perfectly. That's why we beat supposedly much stronger teams like Dortmund and Leipzig in the Europa League and reached the semi-finals. Why shouldn't we also be successful in this way with Borussia?"
Gladbach have paid €12 million to bring Lainer to Germany.
