Dodi Lukebakio is close to joining Hertha BSC from Watford.
Dodi Lukebakio, who impressed on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf last season, is understood to be on the verge of a return to the Bundesliga.
According to Bild, the 21-year-old Watford player is set to go through a medical at Hertha BSC today.
If all goes according to plan, Lukebakio will put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the German capital club.
Watford initially demanded €25 million for the 21-year-old, but Bild claims that Hertha managed to push the price down to €20 million - excluding potential bonus payments at least.
If the transfer goes through, he will become the most expensive Hertha signing of all time.
Lukebakio, who can play on the wing or as a striker, scored 14 goals in 34 appearances for Fortuna Düsseldorf last season.
