After returning from a succcessful loan spell at Belgian outfit Sint-Truiden, Daichi Kamada (Eintracht Frankfurt, 6M) has been handed plenty of playing time in pre-season, receiving a lot of praise for his performances. The Japanese offensive midfielder scored 16 goals and made nine assists in 36 appearances in Belgium last season, and he could be worth taking a punt on with a price tag of just 6 million.

Priced at 6 million as well, Gladbach's Michael Cuisance is another player who has done well in pre-season. With Lars Stindl and Jonas Hofmann both ruled out, the youngster could possibly start at offensive midfield.

Our final recommendation in this price range is Roland Sallai (Freiburg, 6M) who is back after spending a large part of the 2018/19 season on the sidelines due to injury. The 22-year-old is still working on returning to top form after his long injury break, but will definitely be a contender for the starting eleven. And looking at Freiburg's tasty opening fixtures - Mainz (H), Paderborn (A), FC Köln (H) - he could be a solid acquisition.

Mid-price options

Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig, 10M) - a dynamic and technically gifted offensively-oriented central midfielder - has made a strong first impression after joining 'Die Roten Bullen' from Paris Saint-Germain. The 21-year-old scored 11 goals and made four assists in 78 appearances for the French champions, and it will be exciting to see what he can do in Leipzig, playing under Julian Nagelsmann.

Other good options in this price range are Maximilian Eggestein (Werder Bremen, 11M) and Florian Neuhaus (Gladbach, 11M), who will both be looking to continue their excellent development after impressing last season.

Finally, it's worth considering Vincenzo Grifo (Hoffenheim, 11M), who is listed as a midfielder, but who has been widely used as a striker in pre-season.

Premium options

Kerem Demirbay has been a great Fantasy option for years, and he still is after joining Bayer Leverkusen from Hoffenheim, although his price is a little high at 14 million. Kai Havertz, who is widely seen as the brightest German talent at the moment, is a good option if you're willing to spend a little more on a Leverkusen player. The 20-year-old will be looking to take another step in his impressive development after scoring 17 goals in 34 Bundesliga appearances last season.

Other premium options worth considering are Bayern München's Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry who are both priced at 15 million. Unfortunately, the two promising wingers are both injury-prone, but they're both capable of deciding games on their own whenever they're on the pitch.

Finally, Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho, who cost 16 million each, also deserve to be mentioned, of course. Reus has been consistently racking up goals and assists for years while Sancho will probably be even better this season after his amazing breakthrough campaign that saw him score 12 goals and make 17 assists in 34 league appearances.
