Bas Dost have completed a move to Eintracht Frankfurt from Sporting CP, the Bundesliga club have announced.

The Dutch striker, 30, has penned a three-year deal until the summer of 2022.

"Following the departure of Sebastien Haller, it was important for us to find an adequate replacement with a lot of experience who would be able to help us right away. Bas lives up to this and knows the Bundesliga. With his stature and good finishing, he'll be an important part of our squad," Frankfurt boss Fredi Bobic told the club's website.

After completing his move to Frankfurt, Dost said:

"I'm happy to be here and look forward to my time with Eintracht Frankfurt. I'm a striker who loves scoring goals."

Dost played for Wolfsburg from 2012 to 2016, scoring 48 goals in 117 appearances.
