When the Netherlands' provisional squad for their upcoming games against Germany and Estonia was announced last week, Wout Weghorst's name was on the list.

The VfL Wolfsburg striker admits it won't come as a surprise for him if he gets omitted from the final squad, though.

"I'm in the provisional squad. Just like the last five times," Weghorst told SID and added:

"We'll see. The only thing I can do is to keep performing. Every week, every game."

Weghorst hasn't played for the Netherlands since a 1-1 draw with Italy in June 2018. He has previously made three appearances for his country.
