RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff says the club isn't expecting to make any signings in January.

Mintzlaff claims that the club will not be able to afford any news players at this point.

"We don't have money for new players in the winter. We would have to sell players for that," Mintzlaff told Sport Bild before making it clear that he isn't concerned about the quality of the current squad:

"The team is outstanding, even better than last season. We have brought in top-class players. They need time, but they all have the potential to become stars," he said.

During the summer transfer window, 'Die Roten Bullen' brought in Ademola Lookman, Christopher Nkunku, Hannes Wolf, Luan Candido, Philipp Tschauner on permanent deals while Patrik Schick and Ethan Ampadu joined the club on loan.
