Hansi Flick explains his decision to put Thiago and Coutinho on the bench
Hansi Flick has explained why there is no room for Thiago Alcantara or Philippe Coutinho in Bayern München's line-up at the moment.

Speaking at the pre-match conference ahead of Bayern's away clash with Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Bundesliga on Saturday, Flick told reporters:
"They are both players with enormous potential. It hasn't been an easy situation. We have changed the playing style a bit and defended more from the front. I have put my faith in other players who are perhaps a bit better without the ball.
"But we know that when we're on the ball, they can really help us with their qualities. It's important that they fit in smoothly when they come on."
Flick has guided Bayern to a 2-0 win over Olympiacos and a 4-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund so far.
