RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann has revealed that he doesn't have a release clause in his contract.

'Die Roten Bullen' took advantage of a release clause in the 32-year-old's contract with Hoffenheim to sign him in the summer, but his new deal at Red Bull Arena doesn't include one.

"I don't have a release clause," Nagelsmann said in an interview with Sky and added:

"In football, there are always factors of uncertainty - it could also be that Leipzig will be dissatisfied with me at some point. A clause is a guarantee that you can leave. I don't have one, so I don't have to deal with it."

    Nagelsmann's contract runs until 2023.
