Alexander Nübel has a clause in his new contract with Bayern München that guarantees him playing time in the coming season, according to Sport1.

It caused a few raised eyebrows when it was announced that the Schalke captain will be joining Bayern on a five year-deal in the summer, with some claiming that the 23-year-old will most likely struggle to find regular playing time at Allianz Arena.

Bayern captain Manuel Neuer recently said that he wants to play every game and isn't interested in sharing the playing time with the 23-year-old, according to reports.

However, according to Sport1, Nübel is apparently certain to play a number of games because of a clause in his deal. The report doesn't reveal how many games the goalkeeper is guaranteed to play or if it concerns a specific competition.

When asked about the reported clause, Bayern refused to comment on the details of Nübel's contract.
