Bayern Munich have confirmed a one-year contract extension for veteran goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, keeping him at the club through the summer of 2026.

The 36-year-old will continue to provide experienced cover between the posts and will enter the upcoming season as Bayern’s third-choice goalkeeper, behind Manuel Neuer and Jonas Urbig.

“Sven Ulreich is reliability personified: he delivers what he promises - in the truest sense of the word,” said FC Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl.

“Characters like him are good for any team. We're delighted he'll be spending another season with us,” he added.

Ulreich has made 103 appearances for the club.
