An update from Sky Germany suggests that Aaron Opoku could be set for a free transfer to Kayserispor FK this summer.

With Markus Gisdol in charge of the Turkish Süper Lig side, the German head coach supposedly values the winger's speed.

Opoku only managed a total of 14 appearances across all competitions in the Bundesrepublik last season.

The 26-year-old scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists for 1.FC Kaiserslautern before they decided against renewing his contract.

Hamburg-born Opoku progressed from the academy to the HSV first team before loan spells at Hansa Restock, Jahn Regensburg and VfL Osnabrück.

He signed permanently with Kaiserslautern in 2022 and Transfermarkt.com currently values the free agent at roughly €700,000.
