Mario Gomez is sure he will hang up his boots while he's still in his 30s.
Mario Gomez has made it clear that he will definitely retire before he turns 40 years old.

The 34-year-old's contract with VfB Stuttgart expires at the end of the season, and he currently isn't sure how things will go on for him beyond the summer.

"We have agreed that we will sit down together after the season. Then I'll make a decision on how to proceed," Gomez told Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

"I will definitely retire while I'm still in my 30s," he added.

Gomez has made 13 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga this season, scoring twice.
