David Wagner: Michael Gregoritsch will get even better

Schalke 04 coach David Wagner is impressed with Michael Gregoritsch, but underlines there's still room for improvement for the Augsburg loanee.
Michael Gregoritsch made an impressive debut for Schalke 04 following his January loan move from Augsburg as he scored and set up a goal in his new club's 2-0 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday.

And according to Schalke coach David Wagner, the Austrian international will only get better with time.

"He's a very smart footballer who has quickly found his way into the group and who is starting to discover the joy of defending with us. Michael was good, but he'll get even better," Wagner told Bild.

Gregoritsch says he's eager to get the most out of his loan spell at Schalke.

"An evening like this makes you want more. I've got a huge chance here that I want to take advantage of. I'll give everything I can," Gregoritsch told Bild.
