Pulisic calls for consistency

Christian Pulisic says he wants Borussia Dortmund to be a tough team to play against all year long.
Borussia Dortmund had a strong start to last season under Peter Bosz, but eventually fell into a slump that saw the Dutchman lose his job. Peter Stöger took over and eventually led the team to a fourth place, crucially securing Champions League football this season.

It certainly wasn't always pretty, but with Lucien Favre now at the helm, Borussia Dortund starlet Christian Pulisic hopes for more consistency in the new season.

"I think the big thing is stability. It’s about getting to know the new players and having a good relationship with our coach," Pulisic told Goal.com and added:

"Last season we had a good start, but we couldn’t really keep it going. This year we need to keep that consistency for the whole year and be a tough team to play against all year long. That’s definitely our goal for the season, and something we want to build on."

So far, Pulisic has been satisfied with the pre-season.

"It’s a normal process, getting to know a new coach. It’s been pretty good so far, I think, the pre-season has gone well. I think we have looked good in our games," Pulisic told Goal.com and continued:

"Now it’s about finishing off pre-season strongly and being 100 per cent ready when the Bundesliga season comes around."
