RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann expecting 'patient game' against Leverkusen

RB Leipzig might have to remain patient as they wait for their chances in Sunday's game with Bayer Leverkusen, says Julian Nagelsmann.

RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann says he's wary of Bayer Leverkusen's ability to counter ahead of Sunday's Bundesliga meeting with 'Die Werkself' at Red Bull Arena.

"Leverkusen are in good form right now. They've been good in the Rückrunde, and in the Europa League as well. They have the second highest possession stat in the league and their positioning is great," Nagelsmann said at the pre-match press conference and added:

"This game will be different to the reverse fixture. It's important that we're wary of their ability to counter, and we need to match their sprints. We're expecting a patient game in which we'll need to wait for our chances."

The reverse fixture at BayArena was played back in October and ended with a 1-1 draw.
