Emre Can happy as Dortmund resume training in pairs on Monday

The Borussia Dortmund squad will return to training in groups of two on Monday, Emre Can has announced. "We all can't wait to play football again," the midfielder says.
Borussia Dortmund will resume training on Monday, but will only allow their players to work in pairs due to the coronavirus outbreak, Emre Can announced during the Sport1 TV show 'CHECK24 Doppelpass' on Sunday.

"It's important that we get back on the pitch," said Can, who will be partnered by Mahmoud Dahoud in training on Monday.

"We don't know when we'll be able to play again. That's why we constantly try to keep fit. We all can't wait to play football again," the midfielder added.

The German Football League (DFL) has recommended that the German clubs suspend regular team training until at least April 6.
