Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz addressed speculation linking him with a move away from BayArena following his side's 3-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday.

"Of course there's a lot of speculation at the moment, that's quite normal. Right now, the games for Leverkusen are my main focus, and I'm trying to concentrate on them. At the end of the season, we'll find a solution," Havertz told Sky.

Out of respect for his, Havertz was unwilling to discuss the possibility of departing Leverkusen this summer, but didn't deny that 'Die Werkself' would boost their chances of keeping him if they qualified for the Champions League.

"Personally, I always want to play in the Champions League. That has been my goal since my first year here, and in general that's a goal for ever Bundesliga player. Regardless, I'm very grateful to Leverkusen, so I don't want to mess anything up," he said.

Havertz and Leverkusen sit third in the Bundesliga table, but RB Leipzig could move past them with a win over Mainz on Sunday.
