In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious premium options such as Robert Lewandowski and Timo Werner. Instead, we will take a look at the players who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 28.

Goalkeepers:
Partnering Andreas Luthe (Augsburg, 1.6M) with either Markus Schubert (Schalke 04, 1M) or Florian Kastenmeier (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 1.2M) would give you the opportunity to switch between two cheap goalkeepers over the course of the matchday.

Defenders:
Just as the rest of the Köln side, Ismail Jakobs (FC Köln, 1.8M) was disappointing against Fortuna Düsseldorf, but the youngster remains a solid pick considering his low price and the fact that he plays as a winger.

If he's passed fit for Union's encounter with Mainz, Christopher Lenz (Union Berlin, 2.5M) is another cheap option in defence.

Costing slightly more, Raphael Framberger (Augsburg, 3.7M) plays at right-back for an Augsburg side that will head into Wednesday's home game against bottom side Paderborn with confidence following their 3-0 win over Schalke 04. Of course, if you have the funds, Philipp Max (Augburg, 12.8M) is the Augsburg defender you really want to bring in, having racked up seven goals and six assists in the Bundesliga so far this season.

You could also look at Fortuna's right-back Matthias Zimmermann (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 4.8M), who will be facing a Schalke team that are without a win in nine Bundesliga game.

After bagging a brace against Bayern München, Martin Hinteregger (Frankfurt, 10.2M) has now scored eight league goals this season – not bad at all for a centre-back! Frankfurt struggled heavily against Gladbach and Bayern München, but are now set for a favorable run of fixtures, which makes Hinteregger an option worth considering.

Pavel Kaderabek (Hoffenheim, 11M) was the fourth-highest scoring defender last week, picking up 16 points, and will look to continue his great form against a Köln side that only just managed to salvage a draw at home against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday.

Midfielders:
Noah Sarenren Bazee (Augsburg, 1.7M) came on to score against Schalke 04 after Ruben Vargas limped off with an injury and is now in contention to start versus Paderborn. You could also look at his teammate Eduard Löwen (Augsburg, 7M), who scored a great free-kick in Augsburg's win over Schalke.

Kenan Karaman (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 5.7M) and Erik Thommy (Fortuna Düsseldorf, 9.2M) both scored against Köln on Sunday and will look to get on the scoresheet again, when troubled Schalke visit Esprit Arena on Wednesday. Thommy, in particular, has been a good Fantasy asset since the return of the Bundesliga, picking up a total of 24 points in his last two games.

Despite failing to score or assist in Hoffenheim's recent outings, Christoph Baumgartner (Hoffenheim, 8M) has actually been a solid source of points. The youngster has racked up 20 points in his last two games and remains an interesting option, not least because Hoffenheim have a nice run of fixtures coming up.

Kevin Kampl (RB Leipzig, 9.3M) had another excellent game for 'Die Roten Bullen' on Sunday and is surely a player worth keeping in mind, although he's a slight rotation risk this time around.

You should also consider Karim Bellarabi (Leverkusen, 12.7M) and Kerem Demirbay (Leverkusen, 15.5M) have both looked really sharp after the return of the Bundesliga, picking up 22 and 33 points respectively.

Strikers:
As previously mentioned, Frankfurt's upcoming fixtures are favorable, which makes André Silva (Frankfurt, 10.5M) a possible differential. The Portuguese international scored against Gladbach on Matchday 26 and is Frankfurt's preferred penalty taker.

Florian Niederlechner (Augsburg, 11.5M) hasn't been at his best recently, but has previously proved that he's capable of scoring big points. With Augsburg taking on relegation-threatened Paderborn at home, he might be worth a punt.

Finally, the in-form Marcus Thuram (Gladbach, 14.3M) and Alassane Plea (Gladbach, 15.5M) are intriguing options as Gladbach face struggling Werder, who will most likely struggle to keep a clean sheet against Marco Rose's troops.
