Jerome Boateng is expected to be fit for the Champions League final despite picking up a knock in Bayern München's semi-final win over Lyon.

Jerome Boateng was subbed off and replaced by Niklas Süle at half-time in Bayern München's 3-0 victory over Olympique Lyon in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final.

Speaking after the game, FC Bayern coach Hansi Flick revealed the centre-back was forced off with an injury.

"Jerome had muscular problems," Flick told reporters.

Judging by what Flick said after the final whistle, it only appears to be a minor issue, so Boateng should be fit to start in the final against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, according to Kicker.

The 31-year-old has been in the starting eleven for each of Bayern's three games in the Champions League this month.
