Regarding a transfer, Hrustic told the Dutch newspaper Dagblad van het Noorden, "The time is ripe." He expressed displeasure with the club's delaying tactics and openly stated that Groninigen managing director Mark-Jan Fledderus "should green light [the move]."
Fledderus is on record as saying that Frankfurt still hasn't met his asking price. Hrustic apparently has little patience for the stall. "I've always given 100 percent. In the final year of my contract, I'm expecting something in return," Hrustic told the daily.
In blunt words that effectively dared the Erdevisie team to delay the transfer any longer, Hrustic said, "If a transfer doesn't take place this summer, I'll sign for Frankfurt in January and leave after the season. Then, Groninigen can't expect 100 percent from me in every match."
