Report: Vedad Ibisevic headed to Köln?
Retirement seems highly unlikely Bundesliga legend Vedad Ibisevic once his contract with Schalke gets officially terminated on December 31st.
The 36-year-old currently stands fourth place on the all-time list of most prolific foreign Bundesliga scorers.
Ibisevic only needs seven more tallies to overtake Giovane Elber for third place. Where will the quest continue?

The Express report offers few details, but it stands to reason that the Domstädter could, just like Schalke did this summer, easily acquire Ibisevic on a free and negotiate a very low salary. Ibisevic has repeatedly made clear that compensation is not terribly important to him at this stage in his career.
German website Ligainsider.de corroborates the "Express" report and also notes that another regional newspaper rules out another potential destination for the Bosnian international. According to the "Western-fallen Blatt", Arminia Bielefeld will not seek to bring in Ibisevic, or indeed any other players, during the January transfer window.
