6 Fantasy Bundesliga investments you could make for matchday two
We have identified six players who could be worth getting into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for matchday two.
Louis Beyer, Borussia Mönchengladbach - 1.4M
We suggested bringing in Beyer for the first round - and he didn't disappoint. If you don't own him already, you should certainly consider him for the next round. After a very impressive debut, the young right-back, who costs just 1.4M (!), looks set to start once again when Gladbach face Augsburg away in the weekend. However, be aware that it's not certain that Beyer will keep his spot in the starting eleven when Michael Lang returns to full fitness.
Florian Müller, Mainz - 6.2M
Müller is a cheap option for the goalkeeper position that is worth looking at after keeping a clean sheet in Mainz' 1-0 win over Stuttgart, saving three shots. Mainz looked fairly solid defensively and aren't likely to dominate most matches this season which means that Müller has the opportunity to collect a lot of points by making saves. In addition to that, the upcoming fixtures against FC Nürnberg (away) and FC Augsburg (home) don't look too bad.
Florian Kainz, Werder Bremen - 8M
Started well in the 1-1 draw against Hannover 96, but eventually fell out of the match. Like many other Werder players, Kainz didn't play his best match, but priced at just 8M, he could certainly provide good value in the coming rounds with some tasty Bremen fixtures coming up.
Jonas Hofmann, Borussia Mönchengladbach - 8.4M
The former Dortmund player really seemed to thrive in the position as a number eight in Gladbach's 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen. He was involved in a lot offensively for a very impressive 'Die Fohlen' side and stepped up to convert a penalty. Priced at just 8,4M, Hofmann could be a good investment for the coming matchdays.
Marcelo Saracchi, RB Leipzig - 8.8M
RB Leipzig didn't get the best start to the season result-vice as 'Die Roten Bullen' were defeated 4-1 by Dortmund, but they hardly deserved to lose by such a big margin. Ralf Rangnick's troops actually played some very good football at times - particularly in the opening 25 minutes - and the team obviously possess a lot of quality.
Looking at the next four matchdays (Fortuna Düsseldorf (home), Hannover 96 (home), Eintracht Frankfurt (away) and VfB Stuttgart (home), it could be worth bringing in Marcelo Saracchi - a powerful left-back who likes to go forward. RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick has said he plans to rotate a lot through the season, but Marcel Halstenberg - Saracchi's main rival for the left-back position - only just returned to the training pitch after spending eight months on the sidelines.
Mahmoud Dahoud, Borussia Dortmund - 9,4M
The central midfielder could have a big season ahead of him with Lucien Favre at the helm - at least judging from his performance against RB Leipzig. Dahoud scored a goal and was generally very involved offensively with the hard-working Axel Witsel and Thomas Delaney providing him the cover to go forward a lot.
