Confirmed: Ahmed Kutuçu to the Eredivisie on season-long loan

FC Schalke 04 confirmed on Thursday evening that hometown striker Ahmed Kutuçu had been loaned out the Heracles Almelo in Holland for the remainder of the season.
Despite a glaring need at the center-forward position, the various coaches in charge of relegation-threatened Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 only used 20-year-old striker Ahmed Kutuçu in seven short relief appearances this season. On Thursday, the club announced that he would be sent abroad to accrue additional playing experience.

What precisely transpired with the homegrown youth academy product who has scored five goals in 45 combined appearances for the senior side over three seasons is not known. For some reason, the youngster who tallied thrice in 28 appearances during the 2019/20 cycle never earned a chance this year even as the club desperately sought a help in attack.

No information on a potential loan fee has been reported. Various German media sources do not that the six-month arrangement evidently does not include a purchase clause of any sort.
