RB Leipzig to sign Mohamed Simakan as a replacement for Dayot Upamecano?

RB Leipzig have reportedly lined up Strasbourg's Mohamed Simakan as a possible replacement for Dayot Upamecano.
RB Leipzig have agreed a deal to sign Mohamad Simakan from RC Strasbourg this summer for a fee above €15 million, according to Sky.

If all goes according to plan, the-20-year-old centre-back will sign a contract with 'Die Roten Bullen' next week, as per the report.

Simakan could come in as a replacement for Dayot Upamecano, who has been linked with a host of top clubs, including Bayern München, Chelsea and Liverpool.

The French youngster, who has made 19 appearances for Strasbourg this season, is currently sidelined with an injury that is expected to keep him out until March.
