The talented and dynamic English midfield attacker was promoted to the senior team within no time after moving from Manchester City in 2017. In the 2018/19 Bundesliga season, he was named in the Team of the Season.

So far, Sancho has made 130 senior appearances for Die Schwarzengleben.
He has scored 46 goals in all competitions, 36 of them coming in the Bundesliga. A league where he has registered 99 appearances for Dortmund, one short of an iconic milestone.
However, as Dortmund played Arminia Bielefeld and ran out 3-0 victors, Sancho’s lay-off in the 48th minute to Mahmoud Dahoud was his 50th Bundesliga assist.
In doing so, Sancho became the youngest player in Bundesliga history to reach 50 assists.
Ten minutes later, he coolly slotted a penalty to make it 2-0 for the hosts.
He took to twitter to celebrate his achievement. “Solid win, goal n assist. Happy to be the youngest Bundesliga player to reach 50 assists,” he said.
