Mehmedi makes Wolfsburg switch

Wolfsburg have signed Admir Mehmedi from Bayer Leverkusen.
After a year and a half in Bayer Leverkusen, Admir Mehmedi has decided to move on. The Swiss International has permanently signed for Wolfsburg, the two clubs have confirmed.

The offensive player has signed a contract until 2022 and looks forward to playing for his new club.

"I'm very happy about the transfer, and I hope to do my part to make sure that Wolfsburg will have a good second half of the season," he said to Wolfsburg's website.

Wolfsburg coach Martin Schmidt thinks that Mehmedi will be a valuable addition to his side's offense.

"Admir will bring great experience with him, but he is still far from in the end of his development. With him, we will get more attacking options, we will be more complete and therefore harder to predict," he told Wolfsburg's website.
