Adi Hütter: 'We have a historic opportunity'

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter believes his team have 'a historic opportunity' of claiming a Champions League spot.
Eintracht Frankfurt have a 'historic opportunity' of qualifying for the Champions League for the first time after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 on Saturday, according to head coach Adi Hütter.

'Die Adler' are fourth and now have a seven-point cushion separating them from fifth-placed Dortmund with just seven games left to play this season, meaning the dream of Champions League football is very much alive.

"If we continue to do well this month, the chances [of qualifying for the Champions League] are very, very high," said Hütter after Saturday's win and added:

"We have a historic opportunity. Now we just have to take advantage of it.

"I saw from the first minute that we are not in fourth place for nothing. I'm incredibly proud of the team."

Frankfurt are heading into another crunch game next week as they take on Wolfsburg, who sit third.
