Florian Grillitsch ready to take the next step in his career

Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch has opened the door to a summer transfer.
With one year left on his contract with Hoffenheim, Florian Grillitsch has admitted that he feels ready to move on to a bigger club.

"I don't necessarily want to leave TSG, I have a contract until 2022. But I can imagine taking the next step in my career. I feel ready for that," the 20-time capped Austrian international told Kicker.

"I don't want to worry about what will happen in the summer. We'll see what the future brings after the upcoming European Championship," he added.

The versatile defensive midfielder has played for Hoffenheim since 2017, making 126 appearances with eight goals and 10 assists to his name.

Clubs such as Arsenal, Inter, Tottenham, Newcastle and RB Leipzig have reportedly shown interest in in the 25-year-old in the past.
